Thoughts revisit (Part 1)

5 years.

5 years since I shared my thoughts about anything and everything around me.

Honestly, it was rather nostalgic reading back all of my posts, a little stressed too. Never noticed how serious I was back then. Now the thing is, how am I going to "one up" from the last few posts I did?

Let's dive straight with things that happened recently before I go into the more interesting parts in the 5 years period. So, *finger snap* turn that flow of time backwards.

So, I have been doing some podcasts and currently coming up with a series on EQ and Emotions. EQ with DQ, catchy? Rather new experience for me to share my thoughts that I have been wanting to try out. It wasn't easy from the start, because I have been only doing on a more personal basis. Nonetheless, it is an interesting experience. While I was testing out contents, I was requested to cover various topics, and i came across the topic about Social Awareness. It got me thinking, ain't that a nice topic to discuss?! (by the way i just found out that there is a name for ?!, it's called interrobang). Anyway, I did my first attempt on Facebook Live, check it out!

That is all for today! There are lots more to share but let's not make this post too long to read. So, with this, I will be officiating the EQ with DQ content! Catch me EVERY Thursday night at 9.00pm. Premiering at June 18, 2020. Will be posting on my Facebook profile. See you guys soon.

Signing off! Ja~~

Let loose, ponder and back again

Its been long since I even visit my own blog. I guess it does bring back some memories and to find out how much I like typing my train of thoughts down. Interesting it is to me. Fascinating.

I guess that happens. At times, you just got to let loose, let go a little so have a bigger view and have a peek back into what you have left behind. Once someone told me, what a person leave behind every step of the way in life are just memories, legacy. I believe its much more. I was taught throughout the years away from this blog and now back again, that all that is left in this blog before what have become of me now will remind me of who I am before this and what I should not repeatedly do the mistakes in life so far.

Well, many things happened recently. Things changed, thoughts changed, perspective changed, yet mistakes repeated. Worst is that I let it happen again. Unintentionally hurt people who cared for me the most. Jokingly speaking, its as if I avoided all the obstacles, but at the end of the day i still stepped on my shoelaces and fell again. *bam!!! unfortunately I am not the indestructible Nokia 3310 that was so much famous back in the days till now*

Until what happened recently, when I heard the news, I started to ponder. Again I was giving many chances to change the course of action that I made thus far, yet I repeatedly take the similar steps that got me into this same condition again. It took me time to face, took me courage to admit my failures which I never meant to make again. *slap myself awake, lets get back to pace, lets work things out by fixing myself.*

Yet again, not everything is bad. taking a further step back i managed to help changed many. That one simple heart, the most fragile part have been very much been cherished. Thank you to those that have been there and stayed. A new life in which I was even given the chance to inspire many, support many others to believe that merely to them is impossible. Slowly I gain furthermore insights of what I already have, having the guts to move on further in life. New life again, meeting someone new, important. Never imagined a big turn in life. Nonetheless, time to get back again! Time to fight again! Adding more into this blog! Perhaps restart my love for creating short stories.

Well, time to go.... More challenges ahead to deal with the things, and hopefully getting my life back into one piece again. A bigger piece.

P/S: Do drop me some topics to discuss about, this blog is about point blank of reality that we see now anyway!! ^^v

Ups and Downs, Balance?

Its been time since I blogged properly I guess. Especially about reality. Anyway here goes.

Recently my friend and I just discussed of the ups and downs of working life. Which ever part is it balanced? We often wonder where are the wonderful theories "You will get what you want if you work out as hardworking and smart" and "Hardwork pays it all". Things just does not seems like what it's suppose to be when you deliver yourself to the working society, the reality of life.

That's when you start to feel that work does not pay off anymore, you lose motivation, you no longer work as well as you suppose to be when you just started. (You can be in denial but try evaluating yourself. Got me? ^^)

But please do remind yourself that the HUMANs as we are often fall for the simplest sins that any man or women will make (And I don't mean LUST, and I do mean everyone just depending how well can you resist it; Even if a monk does not control well will also slighty fall in). What I meant is the word "ENVY". When the word envy kicks in, slowly one would feel threaten in some other way when it comes to work post related. SO what they do in return for your hardwork? I guess many would have many different type of return so I'm not in the position to list any.

Besides that fact, the other word called "Misunderstanding" also comes into place. Whether you like it or not, misunderstanding often happen. It just depends on how do you reduce the severity as well as handling it. I once heard this and I quote: "Misunderstanding. No matter who started a ruckus over a matter, there is no doubt that it your fault." Weird isn't it, but its true. Its something hard to avoid as we live in a world with many different people with different culture, different believes and etc. To make things a little clear for you guys, a joke can be a real laugh for one but can offend the other. Agree?

I guess it comes back to the point, how much more that we really need to work on in order to get the expected return? From what I said so far may seems endless, but living up your life and often keep in mind of the concept "give and take", never to be in excess, as well as looking things at the brighter side, slowly but surely you'll get the satisfaction you wanted, of course in various ways. You may not see it now, but you'll see it when people starts appreciating you.

Cheers.

Food for thought

The feeling of envious might come when you see that people owns something that you want, thinking that people are luckier. Please do remember, whatever that you see may not be what you assume you see. Life is unfair people say, but it has been in it ways. Utilize what you have and not wish what you don't.

These are the sentences that I've just updated on my fb status. I tend to always remind myself these, but often we do see the same on others and they would whatever it takes to just do to achieve what they dream of. In the end? Suffering, not getting respect from others, complaining why others treat him/her and worst, parents who don't even want to believe their child anymore because of money. Funny? I beg to differ.

Things these days are really getting out of hand. Saying so, I know of a few person who even thinks that their parents should be giving them pocket money or sponsor them to buy a thing or go anywhere. The best part is, each parent should give and not as parents as one. Now how would you feel as a parent? Sad isn't it?

I'll give another example. People tend to always think that they do not have enough, their family aren't rich enough to provide them anything that other people have. And at last what they do? Imagine a kid, sitting down, whining like kid for not getting what their parents would give or buy. The worst, argue with parents and even fight with them or even rob their own parent.

Sadly these things often happen. Sadly, we humans are born with a feeling called envious. Though its not bad to be envious towards people, use it in a right way may fuel someone to work for a better future. The sad thing is, its often use the other way around.

I once watched videos of a man named Nick Vujicic. Now he is a great inspiration. You guys should watch it too. Great speech, great guy. I'll tell you why he is awesome. Look at the picture below.

I guess that picture can speak of everything huh? He can be most inspiring, most motivating speaker around. And who says you can't take yourself as an example? haha...

Anyway, thats all for now. Remember, be grateful with what you have now. Multiply, diversify, monopolize yourself and not to rely or cheat on others to achieve your dreams. ^^

Add-on to the previous post

As what the title states, this is a add-on.

I forgot to say that whenever there is a problem in a relationship, no one should be blamed. Do you know why? Everyone is at fault. If not, it would not be called as a relationship anymore. Think about it, what is the true definition of the word relationship?

This is a common problem among couples these days, things aren't working out, one cheated the other, regardless its the male or female's fault it seems, both has made the error. There is such theory that goes "cause and effect". There must be a cause for things that happened. And that is what happening to most people out there, and that depends on how much they understand about this. But of course emotions got over what is rational, thus.... I guess you guys know what happen next right?

Sounds impossible and naive? Think about it. I've came to realise this, do you?

So next time you got yourself in such heap of a trouble, think before you act.

So long for now^^

Love, Relationship, and others(My POV)

Had a nice discussion with my friends about love, relationship and each others thoughts about it, which triggers me to type on this post.

A romantic relationship. What is it anyway? Is it a relationship with love between both sides? The border-less care and love that is given and received? The feeling of not wanting to lose each other no matter what even that comes against them and to live happily ever after? Or just simply the use of the famous words of mouth "I Love You" that melts the heart regardless to a male or female?

If I say all the above are very common when it comes to dramas and movies or even stories, would you believe? and if I say that all these are just merely the foundation of a relationship that is bolded, CAPITALIZED, or whatever style to highlight, to exaggerate the importance of these key points till it misled many people, including me.

Lately I've came to realise these. Undeniably that these are important, however, like I've mentioned, they are just foundation for the love we seek in a relationship, and we can't depend on them solely. Besides the needs of these lovey-dovey, hocus-pocus, and etc, I realise that the need to think of the future of such relationship. Whether you want to proceed to be more serious in the relationship or not.

After more than 2 years of my relationship, I got to learn that there are also other things that are maintaining the relationship besides love. The commitment towards the relationship, the responsibility, the ability to overlook and overcome situations together, the thinking of seeking for a common goal, the protection (this does not mean guys for girls, also taken account for the other way because to be honest there are no such rights... sorry girls), the patience, the acceptance of each other weakness, and most importantly is the 'green light' in between each others family and friends.

I know of some would think that what I've stated above can be easily overcome by the word "Love". In reality, these only existed in dramas, movies and 'fairy tales' which tends to give the impression that Love can overcome all crap (forgive my choice of word) which eventually ends with "And they live happily ever after.... The End". But to be honest, you gotta be a rare case or you are highly protected where people won't want to do any harm to your relationship, regardless your gf/bf, husband/wife. Are you in that category?

The society now as so we are in and speak has different kind of people, some are kind, some who mocks. And these causes pressure to the romantic relationship, especially other type of relationship like friendship, family that have disagreements or conflicts of some sorts. The mental stress of not wanting to see each other to be hurt is the worst thing one can feel in a relationship, and that breaks the 'bridge' of couples in a romantic relationship regardless of the distance away from the problem because the problem is not solved. Love is not going to magically appear in front of the 'bridge' and say "Abra Kadabra" and turns everything fine, instead it just provide more time for the person to be hurt as those relationships especially family is as important as a romantic relationship. If you don't believe me, let me ask you this, IF you spouse and your family member/very dear friend drops into the ocean, and neither of them know how to swim, who would you save first? Its a double-edged sword I tell you, one judgement can cause a whole lot of difference and lots of damage mentally. And who say time heals? LOL

I'm not saying that anyone is naive, neither do I say I the "man" or "pro" in relationship issues, but rather i categorize myself as fortunate to be able to receive such exposure, experiences that I obtained and to witness examples as close as under one roof. Thus, i share what I know so that all of us can understand the needs and possibly realising what is hindering yourself from a wonderful relationship.^^

So long for now.... really long post I did huh...AGAIN.... XD... anyway, you are free to discuss, comment and even share you experience. Ja~

Food for thought....

I guess I'm back with the topic about Subang-rians again. This time it hit me again.Well not directly though.

I believe that this is quite a new phenomenon, as many have yet to realise the existence of such issue. Or do we are just ignorant about such incidents as many have yet to experience things like this? More and more people out there have various prejudice and bad perceptions about us, and we are doing nothing about it.

The common reactions were:
1. It doesn't matter.
2. Aiya, Don't care lah.
3. I don't care. I am me, I don't care what they say. Their problem lah.

What we did not realise is that, everyone time we ignore this fact that these problem do exist, we are just running away, avoiding it. What many do not realise is that, we may withstand such issue or to refuse to acknowledge it, we are not able to solve the problem and may cause problems to the next generation.

Again, after what I've mentioned so far, I can predict the following reactions:
1. Cheh, think too much lah this person.
2. Crap. Illogical. BullS**t.
3. Amateur.
4. Etc.

But think to yourself again, will you be able to withstand such a problem? If your kids is experiencing such a problem, will you be able to teach them to get through such things? Are you sure that they can overcome it like you do? You sure that would not break down?

With such points, I believe all of us regardless where you are from have to power to change this if everyone of us realise about this. Not just acknowledge, but to also change what is the root of the problem.

For instance, I've just met this problem recently, and because of this my dear girlfriend is afraid of Subang-rians. A simple error in the webpage, a misunderstanding, an accusation and an attitude = problem for me that is totally hard to solve. If these things were to carefully thought off before advancement of the step misunderstanding, all things are done. But there are some certain thing about Subang-rians, even I do admit I was once like this, that has caused me whole lots of problem. Who is feeling all these? Me, who is stuck in the middle. And only a handful would truly understand this situation.

To add on, (so that I don't seemed bias...LOL) this is the same like how we thought of people from rural regions when we see them looking blur when dealing with things in the urban city. We tend to comment, and even mock and laugh at them. But if you were to be in their shoes, how would you feel? Food for thought...

Piece of mind

Life is like outline of a masterpiece, white with black lines, dull enough, marking our inexperience, naive. Instead of letting it be, why not colour it with the colours that you like? ^^

Actions and Responsibility

Finally, I'm able to post here again....been busy try to catch up with my own studies...haha...

For the past few days, 3 news caught my attention.
1. The lost of Yasmin Ahmad
2. Case of Teoh Beng Hock
3. Barrack Obama's apology

I will not discuss anything about the truth and facts of each cases, neither am I going condemn or post something inappropriate. Instead, I'm going to comment about the reaction of people around about the cases.

First of all, I would like to send my condolences to the family of Yasmin Ahmad. She was a wonderful and inspiring person. Lively as she was, she had contributed much in the movie industry as well as many of the popular advertisements under the name of Petronas. When I thought I could get my opportunity to meet her face to face, it faded. Well, I guess it ain't my luck huh... But truly, she is a real treasure of Malaysia and I'm proud if her as a Malaysian.

I remember, past few days, when I came across my friend's facebook status regarding on the sad news of Yasmin Ahmad, someone actually commented that my friend is ignorant on the case of Teoh Beng Hock, which in turn leads my second topic, case of Teoh Beng Hock. I will not mention the name who commented the status, but I would like to highlight the importance of responsibility towards the action that one is going take.

Have you ever wonder or thinking twice of the consequences that would bound to happen for the action you are about to make?

The particular person who commented on my friend status says that how we are ignoring the fact of the case of Teoh is totally reluctant and has no guts nor the bravery to stand up for the cause. Sadly to say, many people has the same kind of mindset for such a sensitive issue. I'm not pro-government nor am I anti-government, but in my opinion, IF one can be responsible for what-ever that had happened including plunging the country into chaos, I don't see what is wrong with doing so provided its on the correct cause.

This has seems to be a major problem in the world. For many to think, they will just do what they think is right without taking into the account of what might happen next, and when things happen after quite sometime then the responsibility is pushed away, neglecting the responsibility. This is the reason of the happenings in many third world country and also to the countries which were in chaos, causing death to many. The last thing that we ever need is another May 13th incident to be happening.

As for example, my third point, Barrack Obama apology towards the police after what he has done, even for a person with such power like him. It is not because of guilt, it is not because that he was forced to, but its because of the responsibility for the thing he has cause due to the action that took.

In short, if what you've started, even it has happened for quite sometime since your last action, has become the spark of tragedies and incidents, please do be responsible for it. If not you are just a normal human who just follows instincts which might cause the life of many.

Cheers^^

Happy Father's Day

For a day like this...I only think of how much my father has done his part of being a parent. He may not be the perfect father, but among the things that most fathers do, he has done several things that has out-done any father out there, he has the perfect side for those he is able to achieve for us, not to mention his tremendous patiences and sense of humour. For that, I wish my dad, happy father's day. Dad, I Love You!!

The Meaning of Friendship

"Friendship....what does it really mean?"

This a question asked by one of my friend, depressed and sad over the situation that who she have thought to be her best friend has done something that is showing none the less being less sincere as a friend.

"What does it takes to be a friend?" This should be the question, i felt. Sometimes don't you ever felt that you could find a book with the title: "Dummies guide to be a Good Friend." or even "Dummies guide to True Friendship" and pass to the person who you thought as a good friend that has done something a friend shouldn't have done?

I had my Toxicology tutorial last Wednesday and my lecturer had something that is really true about having friends. "A good friend is the one who stabs u in front while makes you feel good, changes you. The one who acts in front and stabs you on the back is not a friend." Though questioned myself why does she ever use the word stab...haha....

Anyway its quite true, a true friend will never do anything bad to you or even neglect you, they would tell you straight at the face on your problems and at the same time advices and helps you on the way. A true friend will never forgets a friend, and will ask their friend for anything though the chances might be slim without even a second thought. A true friend will never forgets a friend when there is something worth sharing and would not both about their status and ranking in this "dog bites dog" society. True friends will look after each others back, help each other and never once abandon one no matter how bad is he or she.

Well, that is practically what i think a true friend should be. Not just fulfilling one criteria i mentioned but all has to be done at all times, never once forget or neglect. Now, let me ask you a question, "Are you really a True Friend to your friends? Did you fulfill what has to be done?" Don't have to answer me but to yourself^^

One word of advice to end this blog: Be truthful to your friends^^ Cherish them

True? False? Right? Wrong?

Everyone knows the definations to these words, but is it really what it meant from it defination?

All these while, we were trained to accept what is told be as the truth or false as how any other people think it is. No matter it is about experiences, studies and etc. What if one day, you were told what-ever you have learnt to accept so far, what-ever we have thought is right, is true, is wrong, false, incorrect is not what it is? What happen if you were told that the truth isn’t true and the false isn’t false? Will you just learn to accept it again, ‘rewrite’ what-ever that it is in your brain without further questions? Or will you stay stagnent unable to accept the new facts as it is, and reject it? Or will you wonder, try to ponder, confused, circulating around with your thoughts, thinking which is truly true? Ultimately, what IF I tell you, whats around you isn’t really real? What will you do?

We are supreme beings with the capability to decipher ourselves on what is true and what is false. Everyone of us has a different thought about it, thus no factor are able to control us. What-ever truth that we are being told are the just a small portion of it, the rest are for yourself to discover. No one else can tell you what is true besides yourself. Thats reality. Cheers. ^^v

Life is like a road

Thanks to Lee Peng, I got something new to post. Quite a question asked by her. "How would you relate this picture to life?" Well Lee Peng, I hope you won't mind me posting this up since you asked me. Hehe....

Life is just like a road leading to an unknown destination. The destination is determine by the different crossroads that we meet along the way. Each choice you make, opens new path ahead of you, new destination. Like in the picture, tarmac roads seems smooth at first, just like how we live our lives under the protection of our parents. But as time passes by, the nice, new pavement road turns to be a little rocky, a little rough and sometimes holes. These are just mere obstacles that we have to face, and remember the destination is always waiting for you to reach. For years, human have invented cars for a smoother journey down the road. These are just like how we would want to improve in life, to work for it, to think of it and to understand for a smoother journey down to the destination in life. So, no matter how harsh is life to you and to anyone of us, I just want you to know, that each and everyone of us are here, as long we work it out, and cherish every moment in life, be grateful that you are alive in this beautiful Earth, walking down a road with obstacles and that we will face it together for the destination we have been trying to reach out. ^^ Cheers

What is a MAN/LADY?

Whoa....volley of posts....haha...third one and on going....anyway this is also another request.

I was asked this question, what is a man to me and vice-versa.

Haha....well...what is a man....Biological wise, a man is a male human who has over gone the part called puberty and gained maturity. But to many out there, what does a real man really mean? A guy who is able to be doing everything without any help? A guy who is able to fight off anyone in a fight and save a gal like in stories? A guy who is able to lead people? or is it a guy who is able to deal with peoples problem?

haha...since i was ask to publish my opinion, then i shall do so.

For a man/lady to be a MAN/LADY, the following has to be achieved:
1. Be yourself to no matter to anyone, but be ready to accept changes.
2. Put down your ego. (reality wise, non is able to do so.)
3. Able to take care of yourself as well as others but never force yourself to go through tough times.
4. Admit your weakness and change it whenever needed.
5. Be proud of who you are.
6. Most important, believe in the you that those who love that believe you. *winks*

To me, if you are able to do so, then you are the MAN/LADY!!! ^^

Story of $25 from Liv jie

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'
DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.
SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.
SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'
SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'

The father was furious, "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities."

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25 and he really didn't ask for money very often.
The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

"Are you asleep, son?" He asked.
'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.
"I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier" said the man.
"It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for."
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. "Oh, thank you daddy!" he yelled.

Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.
The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

"Why do you want more money if you already have some?" the father grumbled.
"Because I didn't have enough, but now I do," the little boy replied.
"Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you."

Be you...Just you

This is a request from one of my friend who wanted to open the eyes of someone they treasure about the importance of living their life as their own.

Was walking down the street, minding my own business and accidentally eavesdropping into someone's conversation, probably talking to a friend or so... But yet talking about something very similar to what most people these days talks about...."I wish I can be like someone else...."

Years back I had wished for the same thing, like the saying goes, "the grass is always greener on the other side". I had a friend, who always wanted to be like his idols like anyone else, till it had been some kind of a nuisance to most of the people out there. Obviously to a point, trying to be someone that you are not would only bring yourself to bitter point of life if you could not achieve it. Its not wrong to put someone you idolize to set as a goal to achieve, don't get me wrong...hehe....but its just that don't get consumed by it.

To kinda think back, if it wasn't because of some of my friends and me, I couldn't imagine what is the future of him. The thing i remembered so far on that incident was a punch on the face and told him this, "SHUT UP AND LIVE ON YOUR OWN LIFE YOUR OWN WAY, NOT OTHERS. THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE *****(name of idol not mentioned), AND ONLY ONE YOU!" Bold? but true enough, good thing that got him back to reality.

We've seen enough from the world around us, the news and what ever it is that we manage to get our hands to. Someone just trying to be someone else, for instance for gals to be following how a model work their lives, living in their own lives, spending and even to the point of pursuing the "ultimate" body figure and getting the perfect boyfriend and etc etc. I remember there was a news on gals getting into slimming pills just to be like Paris Hilton or the Olsen Twins, besides pills they even became anorexic, vomiting every piece of things out of the mouth after they are in. Life-threatening leh* (Typical Malaysian Chinese style of speech).

The bottom line is, why bother being someone you are not? People would not appreciate someone who couldn't even live up to their own life. Is there any fun to it being someone else? What will you do if you manage to achieve without being in one piece? What will you do if you were able to achieve it? End your life? Get angry about it and hate yourself? Come on, you must have realize there is a reason why you are given a name by your parents. I remember i asked my mom once, I only remember she told me that there can only be one person to have such a name, her son of hers^^ (Chinese name so can be easily differentiated but same goes to all other names no matter race or culture). Besides, living like someone else, from my point of view, its kinda boring, living your own life to the max with your own creation to your wonderful life....ain't that even better? XD

To that person...like the famous sentence from Russell Peters..."You! Be a MAN! Do The Right Thing!" She likes the person that you are and not the you that imitates someone else.^^ Cheers

YES Man

No no no...don't get this title wrong...it ain't the same as the topic before... This is basically based on what I saw in the trailer for the movie 'YES' or 'Yes Man' from imdb.com, which it's main actor is carried by Jim Carrey.

Well, to be honest, from the first looks of it, it seems like another humour movie which we probably laugh our heads off knowing nothing at all like the old school flick acted by Jim Carrey. But to kinda think of it....how many or to some, how much (superbly in plurality...lol, no such words though) times that we say the word 'No' and how unlikely for us to say the word 'Yes'? well, in general, anything that comes to you...

In the trailer, Carl Allen (Jim Carrey) has the most negative characteristics and has always use the famous word of all....'No'...till he met Terrance Bundley (Terrance Stamp) who challenged him to say the word 'Yes' without saying any 'No' for a full year to everything...(to be honest, can't be to anything lah...haha...it would be purely stupid...sorry for the ill manner, anyway that's not the main point ^^)... At the part of the trailer which when he started to notice the changes in his life towards the positive side. This is where it had struck me. This is the point where we should change, this is the turning point, or at the very least, the U-turn towards a better, healthier lifestyle.

But seriously, have you really count on how many 'Yes' that you've said so far towards any opportunity or to any situations even talking to your friends or your own child?

As much as studies has made, the word 'Yes' is the most popular, positive word to everyone. But yet, as one ages, the lesser the word have been used, especially during times these days when everything is a risk, everything seems like as is its life threatening. Anything can cause thing to change inside out.

Even if it's so, why not take it as a change for the best instead for the worst?^^ this is the same logic used when someone asked you to look a glass filled with water, whether it is half full or half empty.

What i'm trying to say here is, give yourself a chance to be positive, give yourself a chance by just saying the word 'Yes'. Who knows, you might even have your very own life change for the best and having yourself to live your life to the max and enjoy it^^

so....Would you think you're life is like a glass half full or half empty? ^^ Do tell me ya...

Oops...mistake....

Yeah...like how my title spells....a mistake, a man-made error of what i meant by the meaning of a 'stand-alone complex'....probably i was just finding a more suitable, bombastic words to replace the word 'independent'.... but yeah...we still could not get away from the fact of what the real meaning of what this 'stand-alone complex' really stands for....

a 'stand-alone complex'...actions of individuals creating a seemingly concerted effort...initially it really seemed rather unrelated for some events but yet similar in some ways, actions or thoughtsthough sometimes its just unknown why do we use it at times...that's stand-alone complex....

How should I put it? hmmmm.... basically the title Anonymous....its part of the stand-alone complex that i'm trying to highlight... You don't know when, where or most importantly who really started with this title or name 'Anonymous'...basically it can just be anyone.... well there is still many more of how to explain what 'stand-alone complex means' will tell once i get more info...but for now...yeah....that's the brief idea of it^^

Changes

haha....i'm back...but this time i'm not going post something new...but rather repost something that i've posted somewhere else...so read and hope that you will understand....

I was browsing thru my friendster...which eventually i read my blogs that i once typed in my friendster... one that caught my eyes was da one rite after the general election....i wondered why did i blogged thr and not here....but anyway...to those who did not noe bout it..here it is...

Changes...its what everybody wants...changes in every aspects of life...But if you want a change, why don't work it out yourself instead of relying on people to do it for you, or change their course of their lives for you while you just shake your legs around...

This words came from my mind after a mixture of thoughts. Thoughts? What thoughts? Probably it seems a little weird for a person like me to actually think much about a matter, but then it just came out from my mind. My mom just described to me how people complain in the office of the new DUN. The things they complain, its not something that can't be done by their own hands, but why not do it themselves? Reason is simple, "It's their job to do it for us, let them do their job." From that are you telling me we have no responsibility at all into improving our own place? Our own habitat?

That's just as an example. People tend to rely on others to do changes while not doing anything themselves. Sad to say, I've meet up with some future adults which acted the same way which i mentioned. Don't meet up with their criteria? You're out! Not bloody welcomed anymore. Not much of the use to them anymore. Don't have to look at politics to see this kinda situation. It's known that some make friends to make sure that they change for the better and more, but some just misuses the needs of the change and hurt people when use of the friend has a purpose. A purpose once reach it limits then off you go. That's not what its suppose to be.

Some might think...a person will not change anything. For me, a person can change his/her self and eventually change the world itself. So change what you are able to change, don't leave for others. (ps: blogging in the middle of the night really ain't good...XD feeling sleeping liao...tata~~)

Changes....isn't something that everyone wants? like i posted before...everyone wants changes from almost every aspects...if its bad,v wan it good....if it's good, v wan it to be better... be as v noe...changes doesn't just come and does miracles for us for FREE... it doesn't just come knocking on your doorstep..."helloooo....changes is here..." well...if it does, i think most of us will freak out...coz v can't c changes physically.... XD (catch my drift? u can't c changes....if u can't c...whr is da voice coming from?)

I forgotten to add something after i posted the blog on friendster...well of coz after i read it only i notice....well...there is one more point dat i didn't mention in the blog... the thing is this....in our society...well to most of us now, campus life.... ppl tend to grumble at someone else bout ppl's lifestyle...the way ppl live....the way ppl bring themselves up...honestly speaking, i used to be one of dat kind of ppl...but now...i'm da one being discussed among ppl in my campus...not many ppl understand my way of living my life....but because of some certain individuals...some actually hated me and even condamned my style...the "best" ever comment so far...'tong...u r hopeless... get a life...change urself.." well...knowing this, i think most ppl if were to meet up wif such 'comments' they would get real mad n angry at things n etc,etc... well...knowing my old self....i would hav trashed the person...haha...but now..actually accepted it...i changed but i dont change for their sake...i didn't change to suit their taste... i change for the better me...a me which i am comfortable wif n i believe many r too... u c...wats most important in life about changes in ppl around u...is not about wanting ppl to change just suit your taste....(well if everyone change to be da same...isn't it gonna be boring? then wat for v r different from each other once born?) the important thing is changing urself to understand and to accept wat ppl say and how they live n etc, etc...coz if u keep wanting ppl to change for ur opinion and if the person doesn't change isn't gonna be frustrating...n like dat...a friendship would just be ruined....so..y bother doing so? ^^

so...change..for urself...towards the society...towards future ahead...n most importantly...comfortable wif urself....n mayb..if u r lucky..someone who is feeling comfortable wif who u r would just come along^^

The 'yes' man...

The first time i heard of this term, i was like..."what the....what's that suppose to mean?" But from what it sounds like...I realise that the meaning is actually very simple....a person who only says yes... At one point of the view, its good...But when it comes to hierarchy of power and authorities in certain aspects, its no longer what is suppose to seems like...to the chinese, its called "cleaning/polishing people's shoes"...when it comes into decision making and just follow with what people thinks you should do without thinking twice whether you should do or not....to people, its called brainless..(please excuss me for my rudeness, just being straight-forward^^ hope you don't mind)

For me, I won't do anything much but only to tell them....every single one of us are just like computer's operating system....Which what we known as stand-alone systems....We are like computer AIs...learn what we learn, digest them but analyse them at the same time too....we are given brains to think, to analyse and also to act to out thought, which ever is rational and for the good of us....

I've watched Ghost-in-the-Shell...well...practically, so far of what i've watched, i've understand this point...with a certain degree of confidence and faith in yourself....we are able to make a difference for ourselves if we are able to think and do things on our own... and just being a 'yes' man/girl or whatever it is... aren't like computers which some of the programs act on reponses and commands... but like what i've mentioned...we aren't like computers...we are all stand-alone complexes....we are able to stimulate, find answer, find solutions, able to think for what is rational to our bodies ourselves....that's what makes us complicated, makes us differ from almost anything else in this world...

WAKE UP! WAKE UP i say...keep yourself together....non of us are follower who only blindly say yes....we are not people who just follow other's opinion blindly....we aren't born to be followers...that's what i can say.... What i meant as stand-alone complex is that no matter what it is, we are still able to move on with or without people's support.... We live up to our own lives and not living on others nor people living to us...we are able to descriminate what's good and what's bad for us.... That's what i meant by stand-alone...

I urge those who thinks of the status of where placing whoever beside us to be controlled or to control others as you think to change your way of thinking, and relate yourself more to reality....this world is full of this phrase... "What goes around, comes around"...

You don't need to have the abilities nor the capabilities of being a leader to do so....you are a leader of your own...only your are able to be firm and to change your and only yourself...the rest is up to others....to do for themselves....do not try to push nor do not try to harm others when trying to persuade them to follow you....act on yourself before thinking acting on others... in a rude manner... "Mind Your Own Business"...

Well..back into studying my microbiology for tomorrow's quiz....JA~~ ^^
