Life is like a road

Thanks to Lee Peng, I got something new to post. Quite a question asked by her. "How would you relate this picture to life?" Well Lee Peng, I hope you won't mind me posting this up since you asked me. Hehe....

Life is just like a road leading to an unknown destination. The destination is determine by the different crossroads that we meet along the way. Each choice you make, opens new path ahead of you, new destination. Like in the picture, tarmac roads seems smooth at first, just like how we live our lives under the protection of our parents. But as time passes by, the nice, new pavement road turns to be a little rocky, a little rough and sometimes holes. These are just mere obstacles that we have to face, and remember the destination is always waiting for you to reach. For years, human have invented cars for a smoother journey down the road. These are just like how we would want to improve in life, to work for it, to think of it and to understand for a smoother journey down to the destination in life. So, no matter how harsh is life to you and to anyone of us, I just want you to know, that each and everyone of us are here, as long we work it out, and cherish every moment in life, be grateful that you are alive in this beautiful Earth, walking down a road with obstacles and that we will face it together for the destination we have been trying to reach out. ^^ Cheers

well here i am posting a comment:P
thank about jz now!
sometime fate comes in different ways

i thought i reach a road block just now, or me myself blocking the traffic:P
somehow you come out of no where and clear my road, or clear my engineXD

like you said, i'm building a new me on my soft spot
somehow is like putting tar on the soil ground and building the solid road we use today
if the layers of tar are too thin,
or if the layers of tar have not enough time to be harden, the road will crack, revealing that initial soft spot

for me, soil itself although it is soft, but the amount of it actually make it solid, if human are in bare foot, there is no need for tar to be added on
tars are added on because of the existence of car, a proud creation that represent civilization
i guess in the growing of civilization, human natural nature is no longer strong enough to sustain
changes are inevitable:)

adding layers and layers, does it really help?
finding the answer is actually why i am studying psychology now
but last time i focus too much on the soft soil, and that's a mistake
i can't keep digging the road that have already been layered, like my road
digging pot hole after pot hole only make me more vulnerable, having problem to even sustain a light amount of weight
what i need now is a lot of maintainence work, solidified and go even more futher

hmm...d comment kinda bcome a self indulgent story
ah well, you say you will accept it anyhow rite?!
well i guess our road will still overlap

i like your comment....haha...a road requires different kinds of materials from tar to soil, from fine sand to stones..... these different kinds of materials are non other than your friends, your elders, seniors and most importantly your life experience till now....don't let ppl entirely tell u wat is the truth....everybody's version of truth is different...^^ cheers
